Steps
- Enter the amount in FCFA.
- Enter your Orange Money number and the recipient's MTN number.
- Check the recipient's name when displayed, then the total to pay.
- Confirm: an Orange Money confirmation request appears on your phone. Enter your PIN to approve.
- Track the status on screen until the money is received on MTN Mobile Money.
Get it right the first time
- Enough balance: your Orange Money account must cover the amount and the fees.
- Approve quickly: the confirmation request expires after a few minutes. If it does not appear, check that your phone has network coverage.
- PIN: enter it only on the Orange Money confirmation request. Mvic Money will never ask for it.
- If it fails before you approve, you are not charged: you can try again straight away.

Do I need a Mvic Money account?
No. You can send without signing up. An account gives you your history and favourites.
I was charged but the recipient received nothing. What should I do?
The system retries automatically. If the transfer cannot be completed, you get a full refund, fees included, within 24 hours. You can also message us on WhatsApp with your MVC reference.
