A registered, identifiable company
Mvic Money is a service of Mvic, a registered Cameroonian company:
- registered with the Douala Trade and Personal Property Credit Register under number RC/DLN/2023/A/2308;
- registered with the Directorate General of Taxation under NIU P078416650099E, and holder of a tax compliance certificate;
- based in Bonamoussadi, Douala;

A payment provider under contract
Payments are processed by CamPay, the payment service of TAKWID GROUP, with which Mvic has signed a contract. The money goes directly from your MTN Mobile Money or Orange Money account to the recipient's account, through CamPay.
- Mvic does not issue electronic money.
- Mvic does not hold your funds.
- Mvic applies CEMAC regulations on anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing.
Your money stays under your control
- Only you approve each payment, on your phone, with your PIN. No charge is possible without your approval.
- Mvic never knows your PIN.
- When available, the name of the recipient's account holder is displayed before you confirm.
- The site is protected by an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
Reliability, at every step

What Mvic will never do
- Ask for your Mobile Money PIN, by message or by phone.
- Ask you to send money to "unlock", "validate" or "refund" a transfer.
- Contact you from any number other than +237 6 93 23 74 53.
If anyone asks you for any of these while claiming to be Mvic Money, it is a scam.

Good habits
- Check the recipient's name, when displayed, before confirming.
- Only approve a payment on your phone if you have just started the transfer yourself.
- Never share your PIN, not even with someone close to you.
